Half Day — Local Reef
Most dive trips start with a long boat ride. This one starts in minutes.
If you want to get in the water fast without giving up the experience — this is it. Just a 10-minute ride from the shop into the Caye Caulker Marine Reserve, putting you on reef almost immediately. No long run. No waiting. You’re diving.
The structure here is built around coral canyon formations. Not a flat reef — actual channels cut through the reef, creating natural swim paths, depth variation, and pockets where marine life gathers.
It’s the kind of dive where you’re not just looking at the reef — you’re moving through it.
Marine life here is active and consistent. Expect schools of reef fish moving through the canyons, rays cruising along the sand patches, and the occasional turtle working through the reef.
And then there’s the surface interval. Instead of sitting on the boat, we head over to Shark & Ray Alley. You’ll get in the water with nurse sharks and stingrays — up close, no barrier. One of the most interactive stops in the area, and it’s built into the trip.
